Today at the China region’s largest fine wine trade fair, the Hong Kong International Wine and Spirits Expo, premium Australian winery Calais Estate Wines released its long-awaited 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon, amongst other excellent examples of the winery’s products.
中国地区最大的葡萄酒贸易展会香港国际美酒展于今日举行。澳大利亚高品质葡萄酒生产者Calais庄园酒业推出了一系列代表性产品,其中包括其备受期待的2005年份赤霞珠。
Calais Estate Wines, situated in the noted Hunter Valley region of New South Wales, Australia, won the bronze medal for the new 2005 Cabernet-Sauvignon at 2010’s respected Maitland Small Winemakers’ Show, a competition reserved for boutique wineries with a crush of less than 500 tonnes per vintage. Due to the exceptionally good conditions of the Hunter Valley’s 2005 vintage, the wine is expected to quickly achieve collector status, and has already attracted unprecedented interest from mainland China buyers.

Also winning the bronze medal at the Maitland show was the Reserve 2006 Chambourcin, a fantastic wine made for cellaring or enjoying now.

At the Hong Kong Expo, Calais Estate Wines is also proudly showing four of its most popular sparkling wines, all of which have achieved excellent sales volumes in the winery’s home market of Australia. Of particular interest to buyers in the China-region is the Crackling Rose NV, the first batch of which sold out in record time, and is being shown in its brand-new 2nd batch bottling, as well as the Sparkling Shiraz, which is a wonderful wine for celebrations. Filling out the range is the Sparkling Chambourcin, which is a dryer wine with beautiful rich red colour, and the 9 year old Methode Champenoise which is a deep and full-bodied Chardonnay-based wine.
本次香港酒展上,Calais庄园酒业还展示其最受欢迎的四款起泡酒,它们全部在澳大利亚本土市场取得了不俗的销量业绩。其中起泡玫瑰系列最受中国买家关注,第一批库存以破纪录的速度售空,在本次酒展上露面的已经是新灌装的第二批产品。此外起泡设拉子也是庆典场合的不二之选。另外两款起泡酒包括风格更干、颜色深红艳丽的起泡尚博新,以及9年酒龄、酒体丰满、用香槟法酿造的起泡霞多丽。
Calais Estate Wines also announced to the trade that the winery has now started producing its Methode Champenoise entirely on site. Bottling of a beautiful new chardonnay was completed only last week. The wine is now maturing in cellars to create a signature sparkling Calais Estate wine for future enjoyment.
Calais庄园酒业还对业界宣布,如今其香槟法酿造的起泡酒一切工序均可在自有生产线上完成。新酿造的起泡霞多丽刚刚于上周灌装完毕,此刻正沉睡在酒窖里,酝酿着丰富的气泡,准备供消费者饮用。
