As the 2012 Hong Kong Food Expo officially opened today, Australia’s 190-year-old Royal Agricultural Society of NSW successfully made its first ever exhibition at a foreign trade show. Hundreds of visitors and buyers were attracted by Australia’s “best of the best” foods presented by RAS on just the first day.
As RAS’s appointed agency for its PR, design and marketing support needs throughout the Food Expo, Allegravita is honored to have had the opportunity to support this proud and respected organization on such a red letter day.
At Allegravita, we’re strong believers in good below-the-line marketing science, and one of the most important factors we employ in our campaign work is to “speak to different people differently”. Its for this reason that whenever we’re doing marketing campaign work in Hong Kong and China, we employ a tri-lingual approach — that is to say, we write great and persuasive English, Mandarin (in simplified Chinese) and Cantonese (in traditional Chinese). All materials produced for the Food expo are tri-lingual, showing due respect to both Mandarin-speaking mainlanders and Cantonese-speaking Hong Kongers and Guangdongers.
We are very pleased to see that our thorough market knowledge of Hong Kong and China, deep cultural insights, as well as our tri-lingual approach have helped RAS successfully open its first foreign trade mission. RAS, congratulations!
