Title: PR Specialist
Location: New York City
Reports to: your Account Director

A PR Specialist works as part of an account team to implement the public relations activities in US and Greater China. As an account manager, you will assist account directors in tactical implementation of client PR plans.

General duties

  • Coordinate translation work and provide research support in the Chinese and Hong Kong markets.
  • Manage glossary database.
  • Work as part of an account team to develop proposals and implement the public relations activities.
  • Participate in client activities as needed including account service, event planning, assisting in media relations and social media management.
  • Maintain close and frequent contact with clients, and strengthen trust and relationship between Allegravita the client.
  • Examine the client’s objectives and promotional policies to develop public relations strategies.
  • Manage day‐to‐day client activities, including research, planning, implementation and evaluation of public relations activities, and paying careful attention to resources, deadlines and client records.
  • Prepare and publish reports, press releases, or other media communications to promote the client’s enterprises.
  • Maintain relationships with Chinese‐and Hong Kong‐based vendors, which include media monitoring services.
  • Demonstrate effective knowledge of print, electronic and Internet media in the U.S. and China.
  • Write effectively for various media and publish media communications.
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of current China politics and any departmental changes as it affects our industry and client industry.
  • Other duties from time‐to‐time, as required, in English and Chinese

Minimum Requirements

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Experience with journalistic and social media writing preferred
  • Fluency in English and Mandarin preferred
  • BA or BS in Communications or closely‐related degree field

 

Title: Marketing Analyst
Location: New York City
Reports to: CEO

A marketing analyst works as part of an account team to develop and implement analytical and statistical tools to inform and to gauge the effectiveness of public relations activities in US and Greater China. As a marketing analyst, you will assist our account directors in the development of sound strategies, backed by your research, for client market activities.

General duties

  • Understand client objectives and design research tools to analyze trends, strategies, risks, and competition
  • Perform SWOT analyses and offer reliable interpretation of the results
  • Interpret data, formulate reports and make recommendations on marketing strategies
  • Compile and analyze statistical data using modern and traditional methods
  • Evaluate program methodology to ensure that data are accurate
  • Remain fully informed on market trends, competitor research methodologies, and best practices
  • Participate in client activities as needed including account service, and assisting in the development of traditional and social media messaging informed by your research
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of current China politics and any departmental changes as it affects our industry and client industry.
  • Other duties from time-to-time, as required, in English and Chinese

Minimum Requirements

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in Chinese and English
  • Proven market research analysis experience
  • Ability to interpret large amounts of data and to multi-task
  • Excellent knowledge of statistical packages, databases, and MS Office
  • Experience using search engines, web analytics and business research tools
  • Familiarity with CRM programs
  • Knowledge of data collection methods
  • Fluency in English and Mandarin preferred

Title: PR Manager
Location: New York City
Reports to: CEO

A PR Manager oversees the account service team in the implement the public relations activities in US and Greater China. As a PR manager, you will direct, advise and work with account specialists in tactical implementation of client PR plans.
We are seeking part-time (50% time) PR Managers for our NYC office

General duties

  • Plan and direct the creation of marketing plans, campaigns, and materials that will maintain or enhance the public image of our clients in China and Western markets.
  • Direct and assist the account team in the development of proposals and implementation of public relations activities.
  • Lead client activities as needed including account service, event planning, media relations and social media management.

Title: Director of Business Development
Location: New York City
Reports to: CEO

A director of business development works with the company’s executive team to increase the company’s market position. As a director of business development, you will define strategic goals for the company, identify business opportunities in the US and Greater China, build and maintain client relationships, negotiate business deals in English and Chinese, and stay abreast of current market conditions and trends in Greater China.

General duties

  • Lead strategic planning in the development of new business pipeline and maintain database of new business targets.
  • Understand and speak expertly on company’s positioning, goals, benefits to clients, China market entry strategies, and retail China marketing strategies.
  • Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, distribution channels, and potential partnerships that will lead to an increase in sales for both company and our clients.
  • Work with executive team to develop strategies for client retention.
  • With executive team, plan client/prospect campaign strategies and participate in all new business pitches
  • Direct and assist in the creation of marketing plans, campaigns, and materials that will maintain or enhance the public image of our clients in China and Western markets.
  • Speak effectively as a company spokesperson.
  • Write effectively for various media and publish media communications.
  • Attend industry functions and other networking events, as required.
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of current China politics and any departmental changes as it affects our industry and client industry.
